In this post I explore what it means to transition from a degenerative extractive economy to a regenerative economy. In consideration thereof, I provide a definition of a regenerative economy. This serves as a working platform from which we can explore what it is about our current economy that we wish to keep, pay homage to, cultivate, and rediscover. In the latter part of the post I provide some suggestions regarding changes that we might make to our current financial system. I close the post presenting 10 suggested modifications to the global financial architecture suggested by The Beyond Bretton Woods Initiative.
